Sunset Town at a glance

Sunset Town is the evening district in An Thoi, in the south of Phu Quoc. It is where the Hon Thom cable car starts, and it is also the home of Kiss Bridge, the Kiss of the Sea show and a small night bazaar. The operator, Sun World, places the bridge and the show in Sunset Town and An Thoi.

The area works best after the afternoon heat. Plan the cable car for the day and keep the evening for the bridge, the show and a walk. This guide is independent. It is not run by Sun World or any local authority, so always confirm prices and times with the operator on the day.

What to do in Sunset Town

Four things make up most visits. They are separate tickets or separate places, so decide which ones you want before you queue.

Kiss Bridge

A ticketed bridge in Sunset Town. Tickets are sold at the Sun World counters near the departure station, at the bridge entrances and online. Some combined tickets include bridge access, so check what your ticket covers before buying a second one.

Kiss of the Sea

A night show, usually at 21:00 every day according to the operator's July 2026 guide. It has its own ticket. Weather can affect any outdoor show, so do not count on it in a storm.

VUI-Fest Bazaar

A separate market in Sunset Town with food, drinks and souvenirs, open daily from 16:00 to 24:00 according to the operator (October 2026). It is not the Duong Dong night market. See our night market guide for that one.

The cable car and Aquatopia

The cable car to Hon Thom leaves from this area and takes about 15 minutes each way. One ticket type includes the return ride and Aquatopia. Details and times are on our cable car page.

Tickets and prices (2026)

Prices come from the operator's own articles. They are in VND and can change, and promotions have end dates. Height counts here, not age.

TicketFrom 1.40 m1.00โ€“1.40 mUnder 1.00 m
Kiss Bridge (May 2026)VND 200,000VND 150,000Free
Kiss of the Sea (October 2026)VND 950,000โ€“Free
Symphony + Kiss of the Sea combo (July 2026)VND 1,200,000 (offer VND 1,165,000)โ€“โ€“

For Kiss of the Sea, only the adult price and the free tier for children under 1.00 m are listed. The articles do not say exactly how a child of exactly 1.40 m is classed for the bridge, so ask at the counter if your child is close to the line. The combo offer in the July guide is time-limited, so treat VND 1,165,000 as a possible discount and not as the normal price.

Shows and what is coming

Kiss of the Sea is the long-running show. The operator's current guide says daily at 21:00 and advises you to check the schedule. An older brochure from 2024 gave 21:00 to 21:30 and listed Tuesday as a day off. The current texts say daily, but whether Tuesday is fully in service is not confirmed, so check before you plan a Tuesday evening around it.

A different show, Symphony of the Sea, has a third season announced to start on 10 November 2026. As of 19 October 2026 that was an announcement. It is a separate show with its own tickets, so do not mix it up with Kiss of the Sea.

Ticket rules from the operator: use the ticket on the date and in the time window shown, use it once, and do not bring your own food or drinks into the park area. Refunds follow a separate policy, so read it before you pay.

Evening access to the bridge

Bridge access in the evening depends on the ticket package. In the operator's articles, one show package lists bridge entry before 19:00 and after 20:30, and a Night Paradise package lists entry after 20:05. The cable car package from the Tet period also mentions 20:05. These are package conditions and not a general opening schedule for the bridge. Ask when you buy which hours your ticket covers.

Getting to Sunset Town

The area is in An Thoi. From Phu Quoc airport, the airport operator estimates a ride-hailing trip to An Thoi at 25 to 30 minutes and roughly VND 200,000 to 250,000 per ride. These are estimates that move with demand and vehicle type, not fixed fares. Pick-up points are signed in front of the arrivals terminal. Match the driver and the vehicle number before you get in.

From Duong Dong or Long Beach, ride-hailing or a taxi is the simplest way. Some hotels run shuttles, which may be free or paid, so arrange it with your hotel in advance. If you stay in the south, you can walk much of the area. See where to stay for how the districts compare.

Planning a day around Sunset Town

A simple pattern: take the cable car in the morning, when the park opens, then rest during the hottest hours. Come back to Sunset Town in the late afternoon for the bazaar, eat early and keep the 21:00 show for the end of the evening. If you prefer a quieter evening, skip the show and walk the bridge area with a drink.

For beaches, the west coast around Long Beach is the usual choice for sunset views, with cafes and bars, according to the national tourism organization. See our beaches guide. For more ideas across the island, use our things to do list.

Other Vietnamese stops: Nha Trang has its own VinWonders park on the mainland coast. Hoi An is known for its old town and is a common evening stop on a longer trip.
